Dear Friends and Neighbors,

As a teacher, volunteer and elected official, I have always sought to make our neighborhoods and state a better place to live and work.  I listen to people’s concerns, ask questions to better understand their issues and concerns and then make positive and constructive decisions on how to best meet their needs. 
 
I have been able to:

— assist people in regaining ownership of stolen property;

— toughen the penalty for stolen cargo property;

I was a major force in getting $500,000 for the Upper Tampa Bay Library and fought to keep Bright Futures as a merit-based program.

This is the kind of leadership and commitment I was able to bring the families and communities in District 57.
